All vessels must be helmed by a female. Crews can be both male and female.

Oktoberfest Luncheon immediately after at YOUNG’S BOAT YARD

Fee: There is a $50 fee to race which will be donated to THE HOUSE OF RUTH. We are hoping
those who are able will provide a larger donation to support this worthwhile non-profit
organization.

House Of Ruth (Maryland) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1977 by a
coalition of women’s organizations, religious groups, service providers, and elected
officials to provide a safe haven for victims of domestic violence and their children.

Payment: cash or check made out to “The House of Ruth”. A check preferred because you can make them out to the House of Ruth and take the tax deduction.

Classes: There will be two classes – spinnaker (spin) and non-spin – with the option to fly double head-sails.

Race Instructions: will be available at a later date on www.npsaweb.com

Race: This will be a Pursuit Race with the first boat starting at 12:00 PM. Three courses (Long,
Medium and Short) will be defined in the race instructions. The Race Committee will announce
the selected course the morning of the race.
The starting times for all boats will be emailed to the skippers by October 24.

Time Limit: 2.0 hours

Awards: 1st through 3rd places

Celebration: Oktoberfest style luncheon (no cost) after the race at Young’s Boat Yard.
